Got it engraved last night and put it together. Upper:Upper Receiver: Rainier Arms forged BCG: Rainier Arms FA Charging Handle: Rainier Arms Raptor Ambi Handguard: CMMG RKM9 KeyMod 9" Barrel: Rainier Arms Select 5.56 1:7 twist 10.5" Gas Block: BCM low profile gas block and carbine length gas tube Muzzle: YHM Phantom QD for my suppressor that should be here any day now Tick Tock Tick Tock.. Optic: Aimpoint T1 in American Defense absolute CO-Witness mount QD Backup Sights: Magpul Gen2 MBUS Laser: Crimson Trace IR laser for night vision Lower: Lower Receiver: Palmetto State Armory forged LPK: Palmetto State Armory lower build kit w/ KNS Anti Roll pins and ambi safety selector Grip: Magpul MOE K Mag: Magpul 20 round Gen3 Stock: Mission First Tactical BattleLink Minimalist Sling: VTac padded sling with Rainier push button QD's It's been a long journey to get to this point, right a year to be exact, but it is finally done. Plan on going this weekend and shooting the hell out of it. Not the greatest pictures, it was late last night when I got everything done. Also sorry for the dirty floors it's my spare bedroom/gun room doesn't get cleaned often LOL. For size comparison I took a pic beside my CMMG MK3 308 16". The SBR weighed in right at 4.6 pounds before the optics, MBUS, and laser was put on. After it weighed in at 5.8 pounds. Very light and maneuverable, I think I'm in love. I also think I've caught the NFA bug. Next one up will be a PAP pistol turned into a SBR and going at lunch to buy a HTA 22LR suppressor.

nice. i love that hand guard, been trying to decide what i wanted to do for hand guard on my 10.5 and i really like the looks of that and the seekins ones. Right now i'm just using a good ole light moe one
the thing infront of the mbus front sight, that the crimson trace? at first i couldnt figure out why you had two folding front sights HAH.

Thanks guys, can't wait to shoot it. Almost giddy right now haha. nice. i love that hand guard, been trying to decide what i wanted to do for hand guard on my 10.5 and i really like the looks of that and the seekins ones. Right now i'm just using a good ole light moe one

Yes I love this rail. grabagun.com had them for $115, they are a TX company but for some reason didn't charge sales tax LOL I ain't bitching. I actually went from a Seekins 10" BAR to this. Seekins stuff is nice, but almost $100 more and thick. If you are planning on running a suppressor under the rail I'd go with Seekins hands down. I'm not so I went with the CMMG KeyMod fits my hand great and looks awesome. The same rail came on my CMMG MK3 CBR which is awesome. Also the barrel nut takes the same wrench as the castle nut on the extension tube so no special tools needed. Yes that is the CT Laser in front of the front MBUS.

Also guys if you haven't checked it out yet go look at the Gunstruction over on AR15.com. I built my gun completely in their program exactly how I wanted it and then ordered the parts. Pretty neat to see it take shape before you build it. Here is a rendering from Gunstruction before I built my SBR. Of course they don't have all the parts in the world so some you have to insert as place holders, but they are pretty much the same. I used different upper and lower because they didn't have mine but you get the jest of it.

Looks good! Well, except for the dongs on the side of the rail. Now you'll always see dongs when you look at your rail. LOL

Next one up will be a PAP pistol turned into a SBR What stock setup are you thinking? I'm seriously considering a Manticore Arms triangle folder.

I've been looking through the PAP thread on here and really like the butt stock that Morgan has on his. Going to have to tell him to hold me one, he said he had enough to build several more. Plus he owes me.. The day I go get my lower engraved he sends me a pick of the bad [censored] engraving machine he bought the same day HAHA.
