Hey guys, just wanted to get the word out that I am starting to book for 2014 Alligator Gar season. Had a pretty good season last year despite some setbacks including having the greater portion of my gar tackle and setups stolen at one point. Had good numbers most days out with most trips averaging 3-5 fish at 4.5'-5.5' with some bigger ones mixed in. All trips last year at least one fish was caught. Got to dance around the boat several times with doubles on 5' fish which was fun.
Rates for this year will be $550 a day for a full day up to 4 anglers, although best for 2 or 3. $100 deposit due at the time of booking with the remainder due the week of the trip. I provide everything except lunch and licenses. I am happy to take kids on the boat and enjoy getting to put them on some fish, it is one of the more rewarding things to me with guiding.
