Yep brings back memories of several turkey seasons ago when I was sitting in some long grass calling (with my legs stretched out in front of me) and after about 10 minutes I noticed some movement right by my left shoe. There was a rattler's head about 2 inches from my left foot, I had just happened to sit right in his path of travel. He never even knew I was there until I jumped up and sprinted back about 10 yards before dispatching him.
Gives me the shakes all over just thinking about that, haha!

these guys were evicted from the barn yesterday....  normally I would not kill them but I cant have them around the HQ..... Evicted or executed? both, they were evicted because I saw two rats and a mouse in the barn, that got them kicked out for lack of pest control. Each one got a .22 to the back of the head for giving me attitude on the way out....  Haha nice

We had a copperhead sitting in the aluminum bleachers as a track meet was starting a couple of weeks ago. Couple of young kids saw it and wanted to play with it. That was scary.
