It looks like a neat project, not my type, but it's successor the Martini action Greener, would really be tempting.

By far the oldest firearm I own so I suppose it is more of a preservation than a restoration. Side plate says 1857.

I have one similar to that my grandfather used as a ranch gun in the early 1900's. It doubles as a club....
