I have dealt with all phases and aspects of the construction and repair industry. I also have a great deal of knowledge in mechanical power transmission sales and application(bearings, roller chain, reducers, couplings, etc).

Ideally I am looking for a superintendent position or sales in construction, PT or oilfield equipment.

5 years ago I changed careers in the oilfield and became a wellhead service tech in the oilfield which was way better than working on a rig. This year alone I have had 2 friends get high paying careers with absolutely zero experience in the oil and gas industry. I have been on this site for a few years now and really just noticed this thread. If you are motivated and willing to put in the work I would highly recommend checking out the oilfield. The one place that all of the big players post their help wanted signs is www.rigzone.com If you already have a trade then search your trade ex; electrician type in electrician and it will bring up every company looking for help. I started with no experience so I typed in entry level. 3 years later I was raking it in and still am to this day. Hope this helps some of you, I know I was tired of having to budget and getting little to no raise at dead end jobs around home. Also I would def. recommend starting with a big company with good benefits to get your experience in then a smaller company will pay you a boat load to come run the show.
