Might be the only one but a GW teal is one of my top 3 ducks. Like them better than blues or cinnamons

Mexicohunter, no. Everybody has their own opinion but teal and pintail are the most tender and better tasting. Diver ducks are tougher and bloodier and the puddle ducks are more tender and less bloody

So when it's duck season can you just go kill what ever kind of duck comes in ? Or are there different seasons for different breeds ?

On the whole, the season is open for all species at the same time, but the limit is different for each species. Some you can only harvest one per day, for example.

The oddball thrown in there is there is a short season in September for teal, bluewings especially migrate through early. All other species are off-limits in the teal season, just teal may be harvested.

My dog snores.

There is an early teal season in September. Can only kill teal, with Blue Wing teal being most abundant at the time. Have to watch as Spoonies, Pintail and Gadwalls will start showing up as well. Your resident Mottled ducks and Whistlers are around for certain parts of the state. Only stipulation during general season is Mottled Ducks at the start. Other than that you can shoot anything, just have to pay attention as certain species will carry different bag limits. you can shoot 6 total ducks.
