I was thinking about sending a certified letter if I don't hear from them by the end of the month that will give them 45 more days or so.

If you signed a contract for 30 days, then you have 30 days. Send a certified letter, wait the 30 days and be done with it.

I am the only person that signs a contract with the landowner, I give all of my members a copy of it, but nobody else signs it.

If the lease doesn't have a contract giving them X days to get their equipment off then you give them their equipment. We have 90 days from the end of the lease year to get our equipment off or it becomes property of the lease.

I think I'll send a letter, then follow it up with a "Thank You" card, thanking them for the new feeders. popcorn

How long is the "statue" on common sense and accepting personal responsibility?
If he has waited two years and is not paying to be an active part of this lease then he is trespassing and I am quite sure the land owner would agree as long as you agree to take care of the equipment or get rid of the equipment when you leave.
Land owners just don't want a lot of garbage crap littering their proeprty.
If you do not want to take responsibility for it then escort the guy in to get it out of there,

Sounds to me like the ones that say let them get it, are the ones who would also leave their stuff for 2 years and then expect to get it back. Just saying!!!

I believe they should have six months to get their equipment off the lease. We had this happen to us a couple of years back. Folks got off the lease and had been off for over two years. Since they were friends with the lease manager they were allowed to come and pick their equipment up one week before opening of gun season. All of that activity screwed up our hunting.

No it didn't. People worry too much about that stuff. I've seen deer an hour after sighting a rifle in 200 yards from a stand. I've driven to directly behind my blind, gotten in my blind and seen deer. If there was a week between their activity and start of season, it wouldn't have effected much. And it certainly wouldn't have messed it up for the whole season.
