I sold WT does for $100 each and sometimes had no takers. I see the same animals on here for 2-3-4 times that. Go figure.

Your prices are hard to beat, seen the nice bucks and axis taken from your place as well. I think some hunters are like retail shoppers. Rather spend big bucks and think you getting top line when can get the same thing for alot less else where

I would be all over it if I didn't live in NY. I honestly can't believe the prices of some of your hunts. If the travel to Texas for me wasn't so expensive I would do it every year. For the price of an "average" hunt down there I pay more than that here and get a lot less. I am seriously considering doing away with my NY hunting totally and just hunting in Texas once a year. It would be cheaper and I would prob see better deer. In fact I've almost been "looking" for a reason not to do it

I tried to book with you, but you weren't taking anymore hunters at that time. Other than the 6 point being shot I never heard back from you. No worries, I know youre busy and that you're a great person overall so no passed judgement on that. Will try again next year.

If you were within 75 miles of DFW, you couldn't stock enough at the price. I think location is probably your worst enemy.

he is only an hour from SA.

location isn't the deal. there just isn't a huge market for doe hunts, at any price

Let me ask you, if you charged twice as much do you think there would be more takers? Maybe some think it's too inexpensive to be true? IDK. Random thoughts.

Hill country from metroplex is still 5+ hour drive for a doe. Good price, just a pretty long haul for doe hunting. That said, your exotics and whitetail buck hunts all seem very reasonable to me.

the prices are cheap don. but i contacted you a few months ago about shooting some does/ meat hunt. and you said you wasnt offering them hunts now. but you had posted you will have doe hunts. couldnt wait a few months got a job. so i went to missippissippi and did my hunt. and killed my meat. now the season is getting to the end, people are posting hunts far cheap prices. but people got there meat already. $100 far a doe is cheap. but add up what it would cost me to go to your place and kill 2 does. lisence $320, lodging $150, gas, $150, meals, $50, total $670.00 for 2 does, not really cheap anymore i love hunting texas but that $320 lisence kills it. they should have a 3 day lisence. if i was a outfitter in texas, i would try to get this isssue changed. just me have a great day.

I am not competing with any other outfitters because of the small amount I take each year. I had 7 does taken. I probably should have worded my question differently. I got the does completed last weekend. I was just wondering if the others that get more for them get all they want taken each year. I realize that a lot of the others have way more to offer the hunter as in amount of land, place to stay, food etc. But do you in the end actually make any money off the does or is it that you just need to remove them as I do? Also is going the MLD route actually worth the trouble? Do you need the extra time of the season or is there some other reason? Thanks,Donald

I don't believe they are going to be big enough though they are looking good. Seem to have a lot wider horn than the ones last year. One thing though they have not gotten any tamer. Try to get a picture one of these days. My Mouflon project is not going real well. I originally bought 5 ewes and 2 males. As soon as I released them one of the ewes disappeared. The first year I had no lambs. The second year the 2 rams were taken. One of the ewes had a lamb got sick and they both died. The other 3 ewes had lambs but I guess coyotes got them so I did not raise any last year. So I started off with 7 and I now have 5. I bought 4 BB Antelope a few months ago. 1 male and 3 females. One of the females had a little one. It lived. Them another had one during the cold icy weather and it died. Then a few days ago a coyote killed one of the females. So now I still have 4 but I have one less grown female. Does not look good.

Gove it time Don, those BB will be like rats soon enough. If they can make it theough the harsh winters they will multiply like rabbits.
