After 4 years of welding on the floor or a throw away ironing board I moved up in the world. Picked up the top a week back. Had the wheels from a lawn dump cart. Added some angle and square tube. Anything missing before I paint the bottom half?

The shelf for my welder has two extensions to grip and move.

Maybe a wire basket on the bottom to hold hammer, clamps, welding mask, etch.

That's one of them new 600 amp inverters that will weld 5" thick metal and on a 110 volt plug in circuit.

I like it. I would add an oxy tank and an acetylene tank to the backside with a hose winder and torch holder. Then add a tank for the mig welder. Under the table top I would add my Lincoln with lead winders. I have had this idea in my head before and it looks similar to yours. I like the rubber tire idea to rollover rough ground.

Maybe a wire basket on the bottom to hold hammer, clamps, welding mask, etch. That's what I was thinking. I would make a full expanded wire shelf on the bottom underneath the top, like the piece you have against the garage wall. Will hold most anything, but allow "crap" to fall through. A far as bottles, I would prefer them separate, or away from the welding activity, just in-case:) Last time I had to replace a hose, it wasn't cheap! could have used an inline fitting, but I'm paranoid like that.LOL Nice little welder too, now ya just need to get a plasma and you'll be rockin!!!

metal 1/16 inch? It's a miller 150s. Runs on 110 or 220. Weighs less than 15 pounds and has 100% duty cycle at 100 amps. Only runs DC but has had more than enough power for anything I've done. Rolled the cart out to the barn to do a repair and rolling the cart 200 yards got very heavy. May have to weld a receiver on it to drag it around.

Need more racks or shelves. Worked on a project this week and the work top ran out of space in a hurry.

Looks good - add some storage for helmets/gloves/clamps/etc.

Looks great! My only suggestion would be to add some heavy duty casters/wheels to the front legs as well. Perhaps casters with brakes/stops. Of course, that would only be ideal for smooth terrain.
