Delta Co. Sherriff stated that they believe the shooting was accidental but that they were following all leads.

I'm calling it a night, got work in the morning. Check the Cooper Review's Facebook page in the morning they should be able to shed more light on this and hopefully clear some things up.......I'm starting to get conflicting stories now......

Cooper Review reports that he was bowhunting on a WMA when accidentally shot and is in stable condition right now. Supposed to be transported to Parkland.

Hope he makes it through and recovers from it.
They "believe" that it was an accidental shooting. I wonder if the have the shooter or if they fled?

Unless it was a poacher, but yeah, probably not a poacher and so the possibilities will be very limited. It may have very well been someone who sneaked in to hunt illegally when he knew the event was being held. And such would be obvious if the event was bow hunt only.

Where it happened wasn't even around a state park. Please don't add things to an already terrible situation. If you don't know something is true just don't say it. Chris is an avid bow hunter. He hunts the WMA all the time. Chris is a real good guy and a friend and neighbor of mine. Prayers are with him and his family

Hope they find who did this and prosecute them to the fullest. I know him and our land is near there.
There is no "accident" when shooting someone in the chest. I spend 1-2 nights a week hunting at NIGHT and would be impossible for me to do, its very easy to see what the heck I am shooting at. This makes me mad.
