During the last few weeks I have been searching all over for a direct fit pistol grip for my 505 .410 shotgun. Everywhere I looked they had kits to cover every model but mine. I wanted to buy a Cruiser .410, but no one had one. My gunsmith told me he could get a regular .410 with a 20" barrel and then we could get a grip for it. So I bought the shotgun and started shopping. I finally decided to let him order one since I could not find a kit anywhere that would fit. There's a good reason why my search failed, they don't make a pistol grip for that model.

So I get to my gunsmith's shop tonite and he tells me he has it worked out. He took a dremel to the raised portion of the grip's joining surface and made it fit. The alignment is near perfect and now I have the option of a tactical grip versus a stock and I can now have my cake and eat!

Thought I'd toss out a few pics in case anyone else was wanting to do this.

You can buy a pistol grip sized for the 410 frame straight from Mossberg's website but that Tamer is a nicer grip. I have that on my 20ga SBS. The 20 and 12 use the same grip though they are only marked 20
