yeup. It didnt hurt the stand at all. It wasnt boxed in yet. This is the tower. I had one piece of plywood up. Between that and huge gust of wind, it went over. Again It was my fault as I had not yet anchored it down....But I was literally minute away from doing that very thing.

Im at the Dr to have the stapels removed. Will update later with Dr orders and new pics.

UPDATE Dr said it is looking really good. Removed the staple and added steri-strips. Staple removal EFn HURTS!!!!!!!! Wrapped it up with 1 piece of gauze and a bandage. I can take a real shower in about 5 days. Go back for x-rays in 4wks and start therapy then.

It looks like all that TLC therapy from the little one is paying off!!! It looks much better!!! You'll be back out in the field in no time!!!

Every time I ask her to get me a glass of water or a sandwich she acts like its Christmas morning. It makes her feel soooo good to help daddy.

Its always nice to spend time with the little ones and I think that's actually therapeutic because it keeps people in a better frame of mind!!!

It looks great! Easy to keep up good spirits with continual good reports from the doc and the little helper being there.
Good lord that will be the best shower you ever took! Sounds like you won't even have to do a bag job or a ballerina leg raise to keep the leg out of the water!
Have they let you see/have copies of the x-rays yet?
It's hard to feel sorry for someone with one leg who shoots themself in the foot.

I forgot to ask about copies of the xrays but I will get it done for sure.
The great reports, constant prayer form THF and the family support really do go a long way for me having a good day and high spirits. Many thanks to you all.

I had a similar results from a skiing accident about two tears ago.... Very painful and difficult. PT will help to get back to a certain normalcy.

Too bad this didn't happen before Halloween. You could have gotten a lot of mileage out of that frankenleg just sitting on the porch handing out candy.

I am not so limber and require the use of the other foot for stability. The nail will have to wait a couple of more weeks cuz aint NO ONE touching the toes on my hurt foot. They feel like someone is holding a hot iron on them when they are touched. NOT very comfortable.

I sure will be happy when I stop waking up in the middle of the night in pain. I have been up for 2hrs already. Even if I do go back to sleep i will be up again at 730 when the kiddo gets up for school. GRRRR
