Found this guy on hwy 6 just south of navasota. Had been hit by a car but had no damage other than a busted leg. My taxidermist is gunna mount him for his show room. I didnt know they were around these parts. Anyone else ever seen one??

I've seen two out here by me. The first was in town. Had to turn around to make sure. Second was closer to my house.

Good looking fox.
There is a Jewish Cemetery outside of Temple Shalom in a very busy part of Dallas. I was out there on business one day and saw two red foxes running around. I told the grounds keepers, and they told me there had been a family of them on the property since the 70's or 80's and that they figured they were very inbred since they are so cut off from any other woods. Surprised the heck out of me that they would be there.

Did it say anything before it was shot? What did the fox say?

We have been seeing a beautiful red fox on our property for several months. It's been out at all times of day. It has the white tip on its tail. Very beautiful. I had never seen one in the wild locally until just a few months ago. Seen plenty of greys here and a few reds elsewhere.

There used to be a female red in Burnet County off FM 2657 several years ago. I thought maybe there would be more seen around there since she had just given birth. I'm lookin at a gray right now on my camera...lol.

That's awesome! I might change some wording around in the post though. It is illegal to pick up anything of the roads in texas. Just a heads up for ya

My buddy has a property that's full of them. I plan to trap and call it after deer season. About a mile down the road another buddy of mine used to have some land where ide get a ton of grey fox.

We have a family of em around my house. Pretty cool looking little creatures.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.
