Hunted the Colorado river north of Lagrange. Lots of gadwall and even saw some Sandhills.

Went this morning and we got a heak of a cardiovascular workout. Ice and mud dont mix. On top of the the ice was about an inch thick where we wanted to hunt. Saw a lot of birds but they had open water just out of range. Will try when it open on the second split.
