I run a Jetbeam on my AR and also use it for everything else. It runs on 2 18650's that are rechargeable. I believe the model is BC40. 830 lumens on high, 130 on low. Mine has lasted 3 hours running 830 lumens despite the fact that they say it will only last 1.5 hours. I did buy some really nice 18650 batteries though. The light itself costs 45-55 bucks, the batteries cost 14-25 each and you need 2. Then I snagged a QD flashlight mount on amazon for 9 bucks and mounted it up. I've used it to shoot coons and other varmints out to 200 and 300 yards.

I was at Home Depot and bought a two pack of those cheap LED lights at check out for $15. I was in a food plot the other evening waiting on guys to pick me up. I saw a black blob in front of me and lit it up with the $7.50 light and dropped the pig at 60 yards. Best cheapest light I have used so far. Says 3 hrs for 3 or 400 lumens lumens I think. I was hitting eyes at over 100 yards with it. I bought it just for blood tracking but works for a varmint light if alone in the field.

I found a great deal on a 590 lumen at Academy. 36.00; takes 3 C cell's I've used it for several tracking jobs and it's still going strong. It's also aluminum, water and shock proof.

I have found some of the Brinkman two and three cell that have 2nd generation "CREE" lights in them..they are head and shoulders above the others...you have be be careful not to buy the older versions though...I found a couple of these lights at Academy...there are very slight package variations ( i don't recall if it showed 200+ meter light or showed lumen count) from the old ones.
I also have an Elusive Wildlife 250 that is fantastic with 10 yr rechargeable batteries...just wish I had bought the white and red lenses kit, because this unit is extra cool...The bell stripped out from the main body after about 11 months of daily use, I found the booth at the Hunters Extravanganza...walked up, showed them the problem...they replaced the bell on the spot, stated that situation happens once in a 500 or so and apologized for my inconvienence.
I have numerous other units but I can not recommend them or their quality...you can't go wrong with that 250 or the new Brinkman...for daily use that dosen't exceed 350 yards.

Look at the X21 from Coast Products. Powered by four D batteries and is the brightest thing I have seen. Adios, Gary

My streamlight will burn a hole through the deer blind. x2 Very bright. Not too heavy or bulky, rechargable. 3 different brightness settings depending on how long you hold down the switch. Well worth the money

I got a Ozark Trail 750 lumen rechargable from Walmart yesterday. Charged it up and played with it for a while last night and it is BRIGHT. Three settings are high, low and SOS. The nice thing is the switch resets itself after you use it so each time you turn it on it is on high setting and you adjust from there. Seems pretty sturdy, going to fabricate a green lens and see how it does. For 50 bucks I figured it was worth a try, plus my son has one and he really likes his.

My company sells various brands of flashlights to industrial, manufacturing, and many other industries. I was a big fan of the Streamlights for about 10 years, but got turned off because they would often quit working in less than a year (although customer service is good). Pelican makes a good light as well, but is priced high like the Streamlights. I have recently been working with Bayco (often under the name Night Stick)lights and have been very impressed. The utility light that has flood and flashlight, and the tactical light are very nice. Bayco is very reasonably priced as well. I recommend giving them a look.
BTW, I'm not trying to plug anything, we really only sale business to business in larger volumes. Just thought I might share some helpful experiences I've had.
