Mills County...Low Fence

Man we have some good looking bucks in mills , what part are you in ?

I hunted for 12 years in Mills Co, near Star. Bennett Creek ran through the property.

The deer hunting was quite good, and the turkey hunting was outstanding along the creek.

Man, that first pic of the notch ear deer has him looking poor as heck.

Next county over

That was in a year where it only rained just over 9" from May till Dec. This year it has rained 25" since Jan and about 20" since May. He and most of the bucks were in really poor shape during and after the rut.
