Dan's Processing is on Harwell Lake Rd., North of Weatherford. He does great work. His place is an FDA approved facility. They are well-known for their beef jerky.

I used what used to be Bagwell's in Hamilton for years. It's been a few years since I hunted around Hamilton, but the new owners did a fine job also.

Praseks. Hands down best jerky and arguably best sausage. My opinion.

Kosina's in Corrigan, Tx. Been in business forever, great smoked sausage, summer sausage, and clean service for steaks and hb.

Can you recommend a processor off 45 between Huntsville and Spring?
Thanks.
Also, do any double as taxidermists or do you process and then bring hide/mount to a nearby taxidermist?

J&M is great. They are not off 45, but they are in Spring.

Thanks. Any contact on J&M? I found a J&A processor in Spring but no J&M.
Thanks.

I always used Kuby's in Dallas until I got a lease further west.
Syracuse is sort of on the way home and I've used them the last 3 years. They also seem to have more accommodating hours.
I prefer Kuby's breakfast sausage but it could have been the pig I took to them.
Syracuse chili grind has too much "stuff" in it that could have been trimmed. The last batch I made, I spent a lot of time picking it out. I tend to use the burger grind for chili or cut my own from a roast if I'm not in a hurry.

A&A Custom Processing in Corpus Christi makes some damn good jalapeno smoked sausage! The guys have some good stories and plenty of good local information too.

New to Garland and just hunted some LMDP property so I have some deer to process. I have all the proper tags. All my deer were already skinned and quartered. I just want a few hind quarters made in to sausage, etc. Where should I go? I live in North Garland but am willing to drive a bit for good processing. Landers off hwy 78 in Garland.
