I'm near the state park. Saw some bucks chasing and saw some that didn't seem to interested in any tale. The big 8 I saw was more into eating than the does. Saw a real narrow heavy rack on an older buck but he came threw quick and I never got a real good look at him.

I had a group of small pigs, but they ate the corn I sprinkled on the way in and left.

Negative on the deer, but I did drop two pigs right before dark. A 125 lb boar and the other one was LARGE.....no scales, but took three of us to get him in the truck. Pretty good cutters also, may try to keep the skull.

I just got set up. Lease is pretty muddy. I only saw a few doe last night, I'm hoping the deer will move after this rain.

Well we planned on going duck hunting this morning, but we called it off due to the rain. I was already awake so I decided to go see what we could see at the deer lease. Was a lil hesitant but we saw a cpl deer on the way out to the blind, so that made me feel a lil better. Lets just hope they decide to hit this feeder up.

Pretty slow here. Had a doe and a small 8 early but that all I've seen. I did cut me a new window tho. I'll be staying here for a hour or two before I head out.

In Runnels county this past weekend it was much slower than expected. After the rain/sleet stopped on Friday...not much was moving. Saturday I saw 7 bucks in the morning and 0 doe. Saturday evening saw 2 doe and young 4 pts chasing them. No other doe or bucks. Much slower than I expected. The bucks I saw Saturday morning were around each other at the feeder and no fighting. Saw 2 8 points, a 7 point, a 5 point, a 4 point and a couple more that were further out. I think it was pre-rut, but did find some nice wounds on some bucks from fighting.

Weekend was slower than I expected also. I need to get back on pig patrol, came cam shows pigs at my feeders all night long. I'm still seeing little buck chasing but I've also had a few bucks that didn't seem too interested.

we had a ball game in Cross Plains this afternoon and going down 36 between 3 and 4 this afternoon , I was astonished at the deer movement we saw. Some wheat fields had 20 plus deer in them. I only saw one buck and he was big. If you have a stand in the field near Pecan Bayou on 36 you should been out there at 3:45 today, you missed a shot at a 130 plus buck.
There were everywhere this afternoon
