I haven't had any luck rattling this year. One of my lease members shot a nice buck yesterday. Hard to tell what it scored in the pics but it look to be in the 140in range.

Not sure. It was at his property not far from our lease. He told me the taxi would call him with score. Pretty nice deer for the area.

I'd say, I've been out there in southern Taylor county for a few years on and off and you just don't see that class of buck

I know of several people with some 140-155 class bucks on the wall from the area.
I'm not one of them. Biggest one I've seen in person was high 130 and he never gave me a clear shot.

My BIL busted a 150 this year

Aaron w shot a 160+ west of Bgap year before last.

All I've done is 145 12 and some 130s but I've seen bigger.

They are there just not under every bush!

Between the park, lake and that bow range you'd think you couldnt swing a dead cat over your head without hitting deer!

Sorry I mis spoke.
I meant 207

if you go south on Lemons Gap Road, south of CR 621 you run into 207, which intersects to the west and takes you out towards Graham Lake and Moro

There is a new water pump station on that corner

Just a few yards west of that intersection on the north side in the corner of that wheat field they are prepping a pad for a drilling rig... and 3 more are coming....

Gotcha. I have a buddy that hunts between rankin and ken. Seems like the lease next to ken has a high turnover rate. I had a diff buddy hunt that area for a few years. He took some nice deer over there.

The place we had next to ken was around 1400 acres, always had lots of deer just nothing extraordinary.

I was up and ready to go this morning but decided to wait till Friday. I'm excited about this weekends weather. I might even bust out my face paint.
