One of my hunting buddies sent me this pic this morning while I was in the deer stand. I have no clue what it is. Just getting into duck hunting the last few years so still have trouble with it.

Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back everything is different.

Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

A little salt and slap her on the grill. Just make sure you have a dog that can catch food in the air when you spit it across the room.

You are very lucky. Best duck to eat sashimi style. Just cut very thin layers with a rasorblade, sprinkle with some black truffle oil and be ready for an amazing merganser carpaccio.

I think a spoonie is really like a big blue wing. You just have to highlight something other than the unadulterated spoonie flavor... Like bacon, cream cheese and jalapeno. Which is funny because if you just bacon wrap jalapeno and cream cheese it's actually better than it is with the spoonie. Merganser, on the other hand, is what you eat when you run out of possum.

Yeah it is. It just has its own limit for some silly reason. Maybe they just want more of them killed, I dunno.
