Your cams where that crick joins that ridge near the pine trees?
I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's. I don't always shoot ducks, but when I do, I prefer banded ducks.

Just leave them a note that says, "you will be hearing from me shortly!...Have a nice day!"
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

That's one of the concerns. We use this property to take our kids hunting. Two guys with weapons and kids don't mix.

Get a sheet of paper and write a nice little note for them on it in large black letters so that its easily visable. Take a picture of it with a regular hand held camera but using the memory card from the trail camera. Take the memory card out of the hand held camera, place it in the trail camera, and mount the camera just as you normaly do. Next time the trespasser accesses your trail camera, the first photo he sees will be your "letter" to him.
This eliminates any confrontations while also getting the point across that you know what he is up too.

I tried to be nice about it on my deer Lease TWISE and the second time they got smart with me. So I found where they were coming in on my lease with their rino and dumbed out about 200 of the biggest thumb tacks I've ever seen. There hasent been a third time yet

I thought I had a poacher problem, until I figured out the scam. New guy on the lease would go out during the week and hunt other peoples blinds. He would go check all game cams, which were pretty much different makes and models. Well as you guys know, each game cam creates a folder name on the SD card normally based on manufacturer name that is hard coded into the software. Well this guy would go check all the cameras when he got to the ranch, turn them off, pull the SD cards, then go back to his camper and view the results on his laptop. Then erase the pictures, and go put the SD cards back into the cameras, turn them on and get out quickly. Well the one thing he didn't realize is that erasing the pictures, did not erase the folder name nor the the time stamp on the folder. Long story short, we ended up,with SD cards with multiple files names. Basically cards that ended up in different cameras. Since I had a history of each SD file downloaded to my computer, I could tell by file name, time stamp that each SD card had been erased and placed in different cameras. Which coincided with the time he was hunting during the week. Same guy that complained to me he didn't ever see a deer on the ranch. Although not a trespasser or a poacher, still makes me mad he shot deer out of blinds he had no right to be in.

so, we had this problem and it took 6 years for everyone to finally realise that the land had been purchased and we will protect it. at first it was a few signs. then more signs. then talking to all the neighbors. Then we bought vehicles that didnt run and placed them around like someone was always there, moving them frequently with a tractor. then we found cut fences with ATV tracks coming in, placed signs, and they still wore the trail down to dirt passing within 10ft of whitetail bedding area. solution then, security chains and spike strips. now, we have been able to revert back to signage since there are police and bomb squade personel that enter the property for training, signs were cheap, they simply state, "NO TRESPASSING, YOU ARE ENTERING A HUNTING ZONE AND LIVE FIRE TRAINING AREA. FOR WILD GAME RETREIVAL PLEASE CALL XXX-XXX-XXXX." Im sorry, but if i saw that sign, i would not trespass there. and we havent had the issue, but lots of calls! lol
