Leaving for Commanche Fri after a morning Doctor appt (fingers crossed the cancer hasn't come back). taking the better half for her first time. She did go preseason to help fill feeders and set up blinds, also found out she is one heck of a shot. She may be more excited than I am (maybe). Im leaving Friday morning around 6am to make the trip to our place North of Rocksprings. Only a 4 hour trip, but that will leave me plenty of time to check the feeders one last time and throw out some candy (alfalfa) in the feed pens. Good luck everyone and shoot pretty.

Yes sir. Im going to try to cut loose from wylie about 1200, but it will prob be closer to 1500. Just depends on what the weather does and how bad it slows our crews down.

Nothing like that drive heading westbound on 20 listening to the OX football show 94.3FM on a Friday night in the Fall. I will be the guy smiling the whole way. I like bow season, but nothing compares to November.

Leaving Thursday Night around 9-10pm when I put my son to bed(have to stay for my son and Halloween). Staying out there through Monday. Will get in one last bow hunt Friday then will sit in my rifle blind Sat-Mon.

This is one of my favorite times of year as this is my 2nd opening weekend of the year. My dad doesn't bow hunt so the fact that he'll be out there makes it special to me. Good Luck, Safe Travels, and i'll be looking for pictures.

Ha. I cleaned a new rifle for the second time and it hasn't been fired. More than likely it won't even be used this season.

I feel like a child before Christmas. Every time I lay down to sleep I just start thinking about hunting. Then I finally go to sleep and dream about it. Then I get up and go to work and the day just drags on. This weekend will finally get here and be over before it even seems it started. But boy I love it!!

heading out friday night and i cant wait to sit Sat morning, i got a few hit listers iam hoping to see! good thing my bday is thursday so it gives me something to help make it to the weekend!

Really hoping that the weather will cool down just a bit, other wise it will be shorts and a t-shirt in the blind for me!
