Ok guys. My 16 year old daughter Nicole and I are in the blind in Eastland county (far southwest side). We filled up the feeder yesterday and have her ready in the pop up. Lots of trails and tracks so let's see what we can see. Looking forward to a productive hunt. Stay tuned... Frank

Just started sprinkling here a few mins ago, but didn't last long.

Ok rain just picked up pretty good. Wind is SSE at 5-10mph.

I'd better head in before I get wet. Are you out near Cross Plains? It looked like it was going to hold off before it started raining too hard.

It just slacked off again. Doesn't look like anything steady so far. Mainly just a lil wind.

Good luck. I hope the young lady gets a big 'un, or at least a tasty one. I love hunting in light rain like that. If you get a heavier shower, stick it out. They sometimes like to move right after it quits.

Yes sir Kmon1. We don't have a lot of tracks to go off of, but hella trails coming out of the woods. They have a very well beaten down path right to the forward feeder. And the tracks we have seen have been deer.
