2700fps with factory cor lokt rounds. Ballistics only slightly less than the venerable .308 and in the AR15 platform. Recoil is minimal, seen animals drop at 200, and accurate. Very accurate. There are 125 grain loadings as well. Haven't tried them yet.

The 30rar is based off the 450 bushmaster. Right and it's necked down to a 30 cal. What advantage would a 458 necked down to 30 cal present?
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Not a. 223, .300aac, or7.62x39 if you plan on deer. That leaves an AR15 in 6.8 or an AR10. 7.62x39 works perfectly fine on deers and hogs. .223 is too small to be a universal round, unless you are a good shot. Have not tried .300aac
