Anybody have any luck with this? I bomb 'em and clean up every time I go to camp. But, does anyone have any luck keeping them away? If so...what's your trick? I've seen some stuff called "Fresh Cab", but don't know anyone who has used it.

Moth balls work, but then EVERYTHING smells like moth balls.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Same problem
My newest problem is they are building nest in the grill. The nest isn't that big of a problem. Its the fact they P on the grill and the burnt piss doesnt' really go away.

Tomcat liquid rat/mice bait in a chicken water or bowl that is covered by a box with a couple of small openings that other critters can't get to. It will kill them all in time.

we have fought them for years in our trailers and vehicles. Moth balls don't seem to stop them. Glue traps with a small piece of cheese catches them but they keep coming. I read from an exterminator that fox urine spread around the outside and under your trailer can keep them away so I am trying that right now.
When I put the poison pellets out in my trailer I find the pellets stored in my boots so that stuff doesn't seem to work. We even considered getting several barn cats and let them loose at camp
You can't fix stupid

The fresh cab seems to work for all the farmers around here, they use it in their tractors and the good part is it don't have a bad smell or leave dead stinking mice in your cab.

It sounds funny but use dryer sheets. Place them in all drawers, closets, lay them on your bed and tables. It works!

In the old day when corn cribs and grain was stored in cribs we put lime around the crib, when they walk threw it it will burn and they lick it and it drys them out. Have to reapply after rain. Cheap and easy and good for soil

As much as I hate them, cats keep our camp free and clean of rats and mice.

Peppermint oil has worked for us. Place it on cotton balls scattered around cabin. Smells good too.

Keep trying to buy some coyotes, they love to eat mice & rats, do not damage your furniture, and require little upkeep or maintenance.

Can't find the liquid tomcat. Did find that if you put the bait on the glue trap they eat it instead of store it even if they get off the glue trap.

Keep a radio on while you're gone from the lease. I've used that for years!

i second the dryer sheets. I thought it was a joke the first time i heard it..but it does work. Just put them in all the compartments, under the sink, under the beds, bathroom...etc. Try it.. it works.
I would also do the spray foam as well.

Can't find the liquid tomcat. Did find that if you put the bait on the glue trap they eat it instead of store it even if they get off the glue trap. Found liquid tomcat at Gebos in Lubbock today. You might try your local one. It was $11.49 for 8 packets which work in a quart liquid feeder.

I use fresh cab in my trailer. I get it at tractor supply. It works well as long as you keep up with i every month. It will take 6 packets for 10'x24' tailer.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.
