Not so. Had a neighbor 2 houses down that almost had his trailer stolen. He had it in the drive with a ball lock and they rolled it down the street a couple houses, then saw the lock That takes a lot of moving parts to steal it... Locked trailer that you'd have to pop, gotta back in in the dark and hook up, crank the pintle wheel up and drive off. Unreal that somebody in this day in age of cameras and alarms can pull something like that off and not get caught in any viewfinders or raise any suspicions. They had to have cased you and your neighborhood for awhile, because you can't just get in and get out without somebody noticing a 17' duck boat towed by the vehicle.
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

Those yellow ball locks can be broken with one or two swings from a regular claw hammer. I hate the false sense of security they give you.

   Pay no mind to the dates on pics,I never set dates on the camera. Anyway the boat and trailer are 2010,motor as well,there's a new light set up in the front with all LED's and winch is still on the boat, Trailer plate # is TX36555C, MCCLAIN TRAILER BOAT SERIAL# UBF00002E909 GT 17X50 with Huntdeck Thanks fellas,Im sure it will be found soon enough, been told if it's in Texas.Oh and by the way the last boat a guy tried to pawn at a lewisville pawn shop.

I know it's off topic but I like how you built that door for the front deck, What kind of winch is that on the front, is it okay to attach to the trolling motor bracket?

Dang man, sorry to hear that. No respect for another mans property...shameful. I have family in Carrollton ill let em know and tell them to keep an eye out. All are avid hunters and will keep a close eye out. Prayin its found as well as the pieces of skum who took it.

Thanks and I have done a lot more to that boat than the pics show now but to answer your question I had that door cut to size and installed myself, and the trolling bracket was reinforced with weld lines on the side and under so when under load in would not bend. The winch is just a 2500 pound pull that's all you need for a boat.

Sorry to hear it Muddyfoot....I hope they find it and the folks that stole it.....I bought a mud boat last year....had it for 48 hours before someone stole the motor off of it....that was the straw that broke the camels back for me and living in Dallas....got outta there a few weeks after

It was probably parted it out and sold before they stole it.
