I had a Sportical and it shot under an inch at 100 with PMC 55 grain FMJ and just about anything else you wanted to feed it. Never had an issue. It was my varmint and pig gun so I never just shot hundreds of rounds at paper but I'd buy another one if I ran across a good deal. The trigger was gritty but I polished it and that made all the difference.

I have the LR-308 Oracle with better than 200 rounds through it. No issues.

I had one and would buy another. For what I used it for it was fine...it was a range toy and never ran "hard" but I shot 1500+ rounds through it last summer with no issues.

I never had a scope on it so don't really know the accuracy but I could shoot 5" five shot groups at 100 yards with an aperture and standard front post.

May not sound good but that is about what I shoot with my marlin 30-30 with an aperture and I know it's a 2" gun with a 4x scope.

I had one for awhile (AP4) and never had any problems with it. For the most part it wasn't run hard, but I did go through a week long rifle course with it and never had a malfunction.

I have an A3 Classic that I installed a Timney 3 lb trigger in. It is scoped and shoots sub moa. I am a bolt person and bought it so my son and I could shoot together more often(I had just bought him a Stag for Xmas). I like my DPMS enough that when I have the money I am going to purchase another one in .260 Remington.

Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

Getting my first LR308 platform rifle today! WooHoo! I did a ton of research and read every review I could on about 20 different brands. Here is I what I surmised after weeks of research:
The DPMS Oracle is the best junk out there or was it the crappiest great rifle there is. I am so confused! So I got a Sig Sauer 716.
Seriously, it seems to be a real like/hate relationship with DPMS/Bushmaster/Remington.

I found their customer service was very good. I bought a new one and something was wrong with the bolt face. I sent it back and had another one in less than 5 days after they tested it and found out if was out of specs for some reason.

Sold it before I put more than 20 rounds through it but functioned fined after I got the new bolt face installed.

Shhhhhhhh better to be quiet than remove all doubt..

worthless and a range report. Those rifles look like they're pretty sweet.

The only DPMS that I have used is a SASS. It shot just as good as other rifles that cost thousands of dollars more.

Also, I'm not sure what the heck a "dog ear flange" is but if you're talking about damaging the lower while installing the trigger guard roll pin, just make sure everything is supported before punching it in.

And I'll also add that my first AR15 was an Olympic. I fired 4 or 5 thousand rounds through it without a single issue and in my opinion DPMS makes a better rifle.
