Eastland county is calm and a cool 59 degrees. Good thing is I didn't bump anything getting down here. I'm a little late but still enough time before the action starts. Saw a lot of game yesterday but nothing that presented. Donkeys and coyotes are hollering to the west.

Not sure about this stand. No feeder just game trail. Game camera doesn't stamp date on pics so I'm not sure of recent pics. Good bucks here but mostly in velvet still..

Nuthen acorns have hit the ground in young county nuthen wants corn

We were at a family reunion in Brady yesterday at the park and under the pavillion it sounded like it was hailing because of the acorns falling.

Big sow took a dirt nap about 7:00 this morning. Just wish I could have gotten a second shot off. No deer yet.

63 degrees in Camp Verde.... Just grazed the big 8 I've been watching all summer.....thought I hit him high and I did.... The Rage had a few hairs on it and no blood.....he was 25 yards and I thought it was 20..... Now gotta wait an hour for Dad to see how he did......dang it!

Feeder just went off. Slow going this morning. But the weather is great. Couldn't ask for more......well, maybe a more comfortable seat.

Muggy in fort bend county, saw same dinky six point as yesterday, and a funky 4 point buck that looks to be 3 or older. Now just crows and squirrels

I hope so....there were 6 deer total when I shot....two 2.5 year old 8's, a young spike, two does and the big boy.... Nothing has come back yet....doggone it I am kicking myself over that shot....I hope he is ok and shows back up

60 here in Callahan and not much going on. Had one goofy horned spike come to the pen, but he acted nervous and left. A dang woodpecker flew into the side of the tent and almost gave me a heart attack
