Does anyone have any reloading data for this powder? My Hornady reloading manual doesn't have anything with it. I've seen where they are using it with 6.5x55 Swede, .270, 300WSM, .243 and 25-06 but other than what is listed on the can I can't find anything. It says you can go to Hornady's website but I went there and couldn't find anything.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Mel

What caliber are you looking for? You might check the Hodgdon website for data.

I would send manufacture (Hodgdon)a email or call and see what they say.
They would be the on in the know on their powders. Burn rate show it to be close to 4831 to R22.

I look at Hodgdon site. You can select superperformance and only 9 calibers show on their chart. Most a SM calibers This is another of the spherical powders Hodgdon® Powder Company and Hornady® Manufacturing introduced to answer the frequently asked reloading question: "Can I buy the powder used in the Hornady Superformance factory ammunition?" Superformance delivers striking velocities in cartridges like the 22-250 Remington, 243 Winchester and 300 Winchester Short Magnum. Velocities well in excess of 100 fps over the best published handloads and even larger gains over factory ammunition! Because this propellant is tailored for specific applications, the number of cartridges and bullets is limited, but where it works, it really works!

i missed where the caliber was posted. it may well be one that is not suitable for use with superformance powder as not all rounds offered in loaded leverevolution ammo are suitable to reload with lever powder.

Guys,
Thanks, I just found it listed for .243 and 300 WSM. I was really hoping for data on 6.5x55 but there isn't any. I guess I'll have to wait. I had heard or read that they had data for 6.5x55.

If you go to Hodgdon rifle loading data and select "powder" SUPERFORMANCE the 9 calibers with data will drop down..22-250 , 243, 6mm, 300WSM, 270WSM, etc. But 6,5X55 does not show on Hodgdon. Call and they might have the data or can sure tell you? If I had to do it I would compare the burn rate, and use the powder that had the closest burn. Start at 90% below max and work your load up to find the sweet spot. http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=454095http://www.hornady.com/store/6.5-x-55-Swedish-Mauser-140-GR-SST-Superformance/watch the video

+1. Just work up your own data. The burn rate is right in line with 4831 and Win 780. Start a little lower than their listed powder charges, and work up.
