How does someone get started teal hunting? This would be my first year and I want to get it right. I am in Houston if anyone wants to show me the ropes. I mostly hunt on public land. I never got anything right the first year, its the mistakes that made me better at anything. Good luck. Good public land advise...when you get far enough off the road to not be near anyone else, keep going.

The decoys get heavier when you are walking out in that hot sunshine.
