Yes, it's time to start thinking about what will be your deep pocket hunting purchase for the coming season.

I've decided to invest in a good pair of insulated rubber knee boots, with either Muck or LaCrosse being on my short list right now.

Good boots either way. And a worth while investment.

I'm going to invest time. The last three years work and health issues have limited my time and enjoyment of the hunting season. This year my health and joints are all working reasonably well, I'm cruising toward retirement so I'm allowing my subordinates to get experience and backing off some. It's time in the field I will be investing. And time in getting my gear back in shape.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Pay off the Gator, restore the '72 RV, get a new stand. Might take a couple of years...

Its always corn and protein.

But Im thinking about purchasing a 45' container that was turned into 4 bedroom / 1 bathroom living quarters as the new addition to our place.

I got a bad case of the bug for the new Ranger 570 Crew EP. Been waiting for the 900 crews and they came out five passenger with a center console and a huge price tag. Somebody throw some cold water on me. grin

I've been itching for a crossbow but I don't think that's happening this year. I have two sons going to A&M and I'm tapped out.

2 firearms as bride/groom wedding gifts.

Couple Stag model 7 6.8spc's? I need to get on this though, I have 2 months to get them here.

I also need a new generator for my camper.

Had both boots...Lacrosse was better in warmer weather and not as bulky ..but the Mucks will outlast them by far and are great in cold weather...you will like either... I get muck now since wetlands are only $85

everything really added even though I was able to find some really good deals on just about everything for this year but ... I don't want to even put a pen to it. Obviously the lease was the biggest expense for the year.

Thanks for the feedback Navasot.

Will they keep my toes warm in 20 degree weather?
