Hey guys, my game camera broke last year and I am needing a new one. I need something that is reasonable in price with good reliability.

you can get a Bushnell 8MP for about $154
or the Bushnell 8MP HD for about $200
both uses SD cards, can do time lapse, still pics or short videos

wildgame innovations make some pretty durable cameras. They operate on AA batteries which is a great cost savings over anything with C cells.
And you can get them for 75 to 100 bucks.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Bushnell trophy cam. You really do get what you pay for in my experience when it comes to cameras.

take a look at the refurbished primos cams on natchez shooting supplies. Just don't buy a refurbished 46 model. I bought two and both had issues.

I use only Moultrie these days. They aren't perfect, but I haven't found one yet that is. The Moultries have great battery life and they do keep working. One of them, however, has decided that the year is 1979. I hope I can fix that.

Cabelas has a bunch of sales going on game cams, 150$ promos for 99$ ..... Bushmell takes good pics. Unfortunately the things that bug me, I still haven't been able to find one that doesn't do those things so....

I suggest whatever camera you get get it from bass pro or cabelas and get the replacement plan on it. It will pay off if it goes out

I bought a couple Spypoint IR-5's last year. I would have to say these are my favorite to date.

You have to understand that all of these game cams roll out of the same Chinese factory. No matter what brand you buy with what bells and whistsles, sometimes you're gonna get a dud and sometimes you're gonna get something reliable.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Bushnell trophy cam. You really do get what you pay for in my experience when it comes to cameras. You don't always get what you pay for. Some of the worst cameras I have ever owned were Cuddebacks and some of the best are the Moultrie M80. I'm still running the M80s going on my third season without a glitch.
