If you have too many deer, I'd definitely shoot him (assuming you have good doe:buck ratios).

theres alot of deer on the property as well as the other properties neighboring, we have a few 4 points as well as a few small 8's that look to be 1-2. ill see if i can find another pic of the ugly one

Where are you located? I would let him walk, he is young and will do no breading. if his is bad next year shoot him. At our ranch in george west we never shoot spikes and we have very very few cull bucks and we shoot a lot of 150-190s. People do not resize that you can have late fawns that take a few years to catch up. And we are in a bad drought that has really hurt the deer. My 2 cents

If those spike bucks can't do any better than that with eating protein they need to be culled out.

Walk, a spike may not always be a piece of junk! I've watched yearling spikes turn into 150 five year olds. Check him next year at 2 then decide!!!!
