I've been a DU member for two years but have never attended a banquet. Do you have belong to a chapter member or is open to any DU member?

No need to be a member. Invite a few friends to tag along as well. Been to couple of them (never with the group that this one is run by) and they have always been a good time. Hunts and hunting items up for auction and things like that.

"Cynikaltracker" is correct, you do not need to be a "member" of a particular chapter. We welcome anyone wanting to have a good time, food, and entertainment to raise funds for Wetlands conservation.
We are a smaller chapter and usually only have around 85 people attend. Better odds at winning something.
