I'm bored and ready for September 28th to get here so....let's play the "What do you Say" game. We have a wandering Drop Tine 8 which I'm calling "Kick Stand" who is hitting protein feeders in a two mile radius on our land and the Adjacent Land Owner. Now I firmly believe that this buck is only 3 years old max and if he wanders by me he'll get a free pass. Others on our lease as well as the ALO seem to want to make him 4 years old and I think will loose and arrow or put an ordinate down range at him the first time he shows. I think he's young and I'm not even sure if he'll even make AR's! Like I said, this guy is a wanderer which isn't a real good habit for longevity. I'm telling these guys they're crazy if they put this guy down this season and honestly I think they simply have a case of "Wannakilladroptineitis".....What say you? Sorry about the pics but most were taken by on my phone from the computer screen as we reviewed pics at the lease and they were not on my cards.....

young, 3.5 maybe? I do have to agree though, most people see him and he is DOA. Just imagine what he could be in 2 or 3 years.

I'd like a better broadside look, but I think he's older than 3.

The one good thing about being old is that at my age he needs to be ground checked.

Agree. 4 would be my guess. Would also pass and hope like hell he makes it and adds some inches next year. I have a similar dilemma on our place with a 3 year old.

I am thinking 5+ with that deep brisket and shoulder area. I hope it is the pics but he is awfully grey in the face. Good news is he has a droptine. Bad news is he has a droptine and some bucks only grow them once and never again.

Looks 4, but the pics do make it hard to tell. He's got a high rack too. Somebody will give him a dirt nap.

I don't think he will break 12" much less 13" so it prolly won't matter but I'd let him walk.

I believe he's older than 3. Blocky "triangle" head, deep brisket, big chest. A better full-broadside pick would help to look at knees, gut, and hind quarters. From what I can see 4.5+.
I believe I'd take him.
