Your feeder barrel is NOT 54" wide. A standard 55 gallon drum has a diameter somewhere around 22.5". I think he will make after shedding; maybe not by much...

He meant 54 inches at the base of the legs.
This hideous plastic spaceship looking thing is significantly wider than my standard feeders. I'll measure the tips of the t posts next time I'm out there.

We'll see if I'm right when I drop him.
Got over 600 pics of him in 10 days, so he's currently hanging around pretty consistently. When do you think the rut starts out here? I know early, but I'm hoping not Oct 1st early.
You could see at the beginning of archery but more activity should be around the last week of October.
