Tru-fire edge release for me. This will be my third season with it, and I have never had any issues.

 under $20 at academy, only time its failed me is when it fell out of my pocket between camp and my popup.

that the Patriot Jr.? I just bought two of those for my kids. Seem to work great. Its not the JR., the normal one, but the junior is built the same way, works great for me. I actually have 2 of them because I couldn't find the one I dropped so I bought another and then found it.

I use the same one and my son uses the jr. Can't seem to find the reason to spend 70$ on a release.

I carry two because I lost mine on the way to the stand one time and it cost me a doe. So now I carry two of them at all times. I've never had it fail me once.
