Very nice!!! Did you leave the floor dirt?

Helped a buddy build one similar to yours. We poured a concrete wall around it and in the floor. Slight slope on the floor to a trench drain that released into a sand/gravel mix to disperese it. With the concrete walls, we were able to seal almost all of the penetrations and install solid flip up windows. He has never had a snake or varmint get in, just a few bugs here and there.

I like it cheers

Very nice Nate. I like it.
This fall will be my 3rd yr to hunt out of my pit. I got all the same responses about mine.... snakes, varmints, water, etc....the next snake I find in mine will be my first.
These things are a scream to hunt out of... Really helps with your scent, warm in the winter , cool in the fall and you can wave your arms at a deer 10 yds away and not get busted...
I go in once a yr with a good bug spray and I'm good to go for the entire hunting season... Here's a couple of pics of mine under construction.
