Gonna get my CC soon. Are you comfortable carrying something smaller like 380 or do you go bigger? I know everybody is different and this has been discussed before but just looking for opinions. I hate carrying around my big wallet much less a bulky gun.

I've carried an assortment of guns ranging from .32 - 10mm. The reason I don't carry the bigger calibers often is because of the size of the guns. I'm like you in terms of trying to minimize what I carry. I gave up a wallet for a money clip so that will tell you where my head is at.

To answer your question, I carry a .32 Seecamp 99% of the time. I've been this way for probably 2 years now and I feel confident with this gun. I'm sure plenty of people will weigh in and say anything less than a 45 is not enough but I disagree. I'm accurate with this gun, it's reliable, and it's easy to carry which translates to it's always on me.

If its to big you won't carry it. Remember it's for an emergency close encounter not a fire fight like you see on tv

Summer months I carry either a Walther PP or a Walther PPK .32 or .380. I will carry the g23 if I can conceal it with what I'm wearing.

Once it gets cooler, it's all g23 with maybe an xd or two thrown in the mix.

Mainly, get what you will carry. Personally, I always carry 3 o'clock IWB. It's the fastest way to deploy a weapon when needed, and the easiest location to conceal. So, a small 380 type pistol would be harder to deploy than a larger pistol. Plus, I shoot a larger pistol much better. So, I carry a G29 in 10mm Auto 90% of the time. The other 10% is with a Kahr PM40, which can be tucked anywhere I like, mainly wearing athletic shorts and a T-shirt. But carry what you will carry.

^^this^^

I carry a 380, but I don't have a ton of faith in it. I may try an XDS .45 mainly for the piece of mind that I KNOW I brought enough gun.

I carry a glock 17 every day...I started out with smaller guns but really, I don't like shooting smaller guns, and I don't practice with smaller guns so since I shoot the glock all the time, and im comfortable with it, so that's what I carry and why.
I carry in my gun girdle strong side and usually carry about 10 hrs + per day

Sig P938 9mm or Ultra-Compact 1911 depending on dress. Generally IWB at 3 o'clock, sometimes pocket carry the lil' 9x19.

Glock 26 IWB at 4 O'Clock is a good choice as well.

I carry my g23 small of my back IWB. As you can see by this photo, this is why I DONT carry it during summer months. Unless I have one of those columbia/magellan/whatever fishing shirts on, I can't conceal it. My 29" waist doesn't help.

This photo kinda makes me look like a d-bag, but whatever.

You might be right, but then again.... maybe youre not! I ain't betting my life on it!

Glock 19 or 26 for me, IWB at 4 o clock. I shoot them the best, and they have proven themselves to be the most reliable.

Carry a Walther PPS .40 - thin and concealable in OWB holster. For those times I cannot carry the PPS I have a KelTec P3AT in a pocket holster - and yes, I have faith in it. Would not carry something I didn't trust - but, I also have backup plans if something should fail.

Most people are not going to fight through being shot with a .22 much less a .38. Carry what you are comfortable carrying and shoot well.

Summer months my S & W airweight in .22 mag goes everywhere with me. At 10.5 ounces you don't even notice it.

For only having a 1 & 7/8 inch barrel recoil is hardly noticeable.

Just a nice shooting revolver.

Downside: They are expensive for what they are.

I carry a G23, but like stated above, they can be difficult to conceal in "summer" clothes.

How are you gonna shoot a squirell if you're lookin at your feet?

I'll carry a .40 or a .380.

Carrying a 9mm short doesn't bother me. I just pack 2 spare mags instead of the 1 I'll carry with the .40.

Carry a Glock 19 or CZ mid size, get a good holster like a Ctac. If you can't conceal a glock 19, you either have a cheap holster or the weirdest body ever.

I carry a 3in 1911 in a milt sparks vm2, it is very comfortable with the good holster and a quality belt meant to carry a load. I usually carry 10 hrs a day min at work more if I go somewhere after work.
