That's no joke. I shot a praire chicken one day while I was out pheasant hunting and just assumed it would taste similar to the pheasant. Don't think I will bother shooting at one again.

I don't know what kind of grouse you guys were eating, but I ate more sharptail grouse than any other bird last year. I just sliced it thin and used it for fajitas. Tastes just like beef and is twice as tender.

Same type I grew up eating every year. Not just last year! Too many better alternatives up there. It's kind of like the guys who think duck and dove taste good.

Being that we raise 2.1 million chickens a year for Tyson, one would think I know the answer to this.
