Now I get it. I didn't realize you were doing the toy hauler. I thought you were converting the whole thing. Makes financial sense the way you are proceeding.

Just throwing out an idea, but what about some type of roll on rubber based product similar to truck bed liner that would be easy to clean but would provide a seal for water/oil and a good traction surface? nidea

As long as it'll stick to plywood, I'll give it a shot! Time for some research!!

This is very cool. Never under estimate the ingenuity of a Redneck. Nice work. The type that will last too!

Got my awning installed before we left for vacation..

Sure makes it nice to sit in the shade.. Also helps keep the camper much cooler..

I'm actually going to add 3 windows.. One over kitchen sink, one in the bathroom (frosted glass), and one high up on a wall elsewhere.. It is nice to sleep as late as you like without getting the glare of sunshine inside though. grin

I bet heating and cooling is best without windows too.

yeah the 2 roof top units do a great job cooling though..
The rear air is tied into the camper wiring- you plug in the 30 amp RV cord, and it's powered.. the front one is wired separately with a flanged inlet under the floor. When you get to a parking spot, you can run a cord for just that one and plug it into a regular receptacle or a generator.

Heating- with the RV furnace I installed, that thing will cook you out when it's 25* outside, in about 15 minutes... Haven't tried it any colder than that.
It's better insulated than most campers or toy haulers..

My next one will be a gooseneck cargo trailer.. 26-35'

So you said something about selling it?
