Only problem with my Yeti is it needs a small beer door. It's a 120 quart so every time I open it it lets the hot air in. If one of the high end cooler companies could make a tight sealing beer door then we'd have something!

That's a good idea chad....make it an option. I think most people use smaller coolers for beer though. The only problem is it would be another weak point area and would probably not hold ice as well as one without the small door.
I've had coolers where you can open the entire lid or just one side.

I've got several igloo coolers. They perform well and the ones with thicker insulation cost more than the thin insulated ones but they aren't as well built as the high end brands.
Still, they suite my needs. And my budget.

If one of the high end cooler companies could make a tight sealing beer door then we'd have something! I never saw the reason for one refrigerator size cooler to hold everything. Buy an el cheapo for the drinks, we hardly used our bigger coolers for our drinks, Your ice will melt faster in any cooler that gets opened and closed all day. We used to use the freeze 32 Oz Coke bottles for our ice. When we used to go camping in the Big Bend we would take 3 coolers, one food, one drinks and one for ice. The food coolers were getting opened a few times a day had less ice melt than the drink cooler, and the ice cooler was only opened to refresh the ice in the other 2 coolers. We would still have ice when we got back to Alpine.

Two weeks ago I left port A with about 120 lbs of Redfish and Snapper filets I stopped at heb and got some dry Ice. They were still frozen when I got to Ft Worth from my yeti. I could not have done that in my old igloo. Igloo is not a bad product in the higher grades but still not the yeti or brute etc.

True but you can buy 4 of their highest end ones for the cost of the others. And no one will steal it out of your truck.

Not sure about that...people steal coolers all the time.
