They blend in perfect on a shady mesquite branch. Easily caught at night when they're on the ground too.

Mostly call wip-o-will here in Alabama. I read up on them one time and the article said that they are the only bird that always sits on a limb lengthwise instead of sideways. I can't remember why they do it but there is a reason for it.
