The black eyed pea has great CFS and again, I don't have to wait in line to get it. Speaks volumes...

Live in Sanger and eat at Babe's anytime we have visitors for the experience and because they have all heard about the place. As for us personally, been there done that and tend to avoid the place if it is just wife and myself. Love their smoked chicken but can get just as good at Cowboy Chicken. We have just tried Big Mama's catfish in downtown Sanger and tend to like their catfish better than Babe's. Generally the service at Babe's in Sanger is excellent, even if you have to wait for a spot.

I pass through Sanger on my hunting in Kansas! I'm going to have to stop and try this! I don't think I will make it very far afterwards though!

If you want a Chicken Fried Steak, I would suggest the ones at the Ranchman's Cafe in Ponder, TX. I have eaten many good ones at the Sportsman's Club on Colorado City Lake, but I do believe Ponder has the best ones by far. Unique history on the walls and atmosphere make for a good meal with friends or family. My parents from Hobbs, NM have never forgotten the food and fun they enjoyed at the Ponder steak house.

Wife and I are in Arlington for her job training and decided to hit Babe's in Arlington. We both got CFS and it was really good. Both of ours were fork tender. Plus enjoyed all the sides that come with it, including biscuits. Salad wasn't all that great but I wasn't there to worry about salads.

I've been to two -- one near the DFW airport and the one in Frisco -- FWIW, I like the one is Frisco more. I've never had a problem with lines -- although I admit that if we drive up and there is a line, we simply cruise to some other place -- I think this has only happened once....
