Thought about getting a digital safe while I was considering upgrading my safe and gun capacity. I decided to stay with the dial lock. I'm not sure why but when I looked at the safes with digital locks they looked too cheap to me. Then I started looking at the price of the safes and how many guns they say they will hold, which is always more than they will really hold, assuming you have rifles with scopes and I decided to just do a little work on my 25yr old safe and double it's capacity and keep it. Now I'm really glad I did.

Yay! Glad you finally have access again. We've been there. Liberty safe. We called and they didn't want to help.
Couple more calls and some serious beechin, they agreed to send out a locksmith.
The mechanical dial was toast. Replaced it with an S & G.
No more problems.
I think you should print this thread off and send it to Winchester. What model is your liberty safe? I'm thinking of buying one, and as I understand, some models are made in China, and some in the US.
