I've had two hogs and three deer processed by Clear Fork Country game processing- just east of Graham, TX. Friendly service and very professional. I hope they continue to do their 1/2 price on processing if the deer or hog is completely made into sausage. http://www.clearforkcountry.com/

Prasek's in Hilje/El Campo, or Pete's Fine Meats in Houston. B&W in Houston is excellent as well.

When is someone going to make a database connected to Google Maps where we can put our zip code in and all of these recommendations can come up based on where the zip code is from? Ha.
Any recommendations between Denton/Fort worth to Jacksboro/Bowie? I have tried Syracuse already, and I didn't like their smoked sausage. They called it a "wet" sausage (keep jokes to yourself...just saying what they said) vs Kuby's, which makes a "dry" sausage. I prefer Kuby's much better, but can't stand the drive down to Dallas. Maybe I just need to make the hour drive each way.

I've had excellent experiences with Hunter's Creek in Liberty Hill, north of the 29/183 intersection on 183. I've had them process deer, pigs and blackbuck and they've always done a great job, zero issues and reasonably priced. Their smoked sausage is excellent, I've had my last two pigs completely processed into smoked sausage. Good to hear. I drive by this place every time I go to the ranch. Wondered about it. Thanks for posting.

Not that will help you in the Dallas area but for guys hunting in the hill country that live in the Houston area. The Bellville Meat Market is great!!! Kinda hate to give away secrets but they are the best I have used and I have used a lot. Have hunted around the Llano area for many years and just quarter them up and drop them off. Great tasting meat at good prices.

Eddie Rays Smokehouse in Elm Mott, just North of Waco. He has another location, but I don't know where. Hands down the best I have ever used. I actually drive a few hours out of my way to use him.

Cole Stevens is the owner/operator at Hunter's Creek, he's a really nice guy who has gone out of his way to meet me for after-hours drop off. Reasonable turn around time for single animal processors. He's got a little old lady that makes KILLER venison tamales, too.

Rhodes Deer Processing in alvarado on CR 810 south You get your deer as they are processed one at a time not like a lot of them now where they are just put in together and you get someone elses meat back or you dont get the amount of meat back you should have.

New to Garland and just hunted some LMDP property so I have some deer to process. I have all the proper tags. All my deer were already skinned and quartered. I just want a few hind quarters made in to sausage, etc. Where should I go? I live in North Garland but am willing to drive a bit for good processing.

the pricing is good, they are quick even during deer season and their smoked sausage is ridiculously good.
