Awesome. How deep were the crappie. We caught most on structure around 12'. I couldn't believe how many toads we caught yesterday- kept thinking I'd hooked a bass and yanked a crappie up.

Nice crappie, makes me want to load the boat up and go right now, but i have to leave my fish until this weekend. My wife and i are fishing in a little crappie tournament benefiting wounded solider down here at lake texana! Cant wait to go this saturday!

I've been killing the crappie on lavon, trying to get enough for the dove hunt fish fry. I need to work on my sandie catching tho. Havent found them in big numbers but I'm planning to learn that part of fishing lavon this summer. I have a two daughters that don't want to go much but my oldest caught several big crappie last Friday. My youngest doesn't have the patience for most fishing but sandies might be her type. Nice haul, Carey is a great guy and shares his info and fishing reports for all to see.

Absolutely, if you want to learn a lot about fishing just book a trip with Carey. He does not mind showing you exactly what he is doing and how to improve your game.
He will also make fun of you if you set a hook so hard that you yank the fish out of the water. Ask me how I know...
