stxranchman we have a 18000 Btu air / heater. I also have a propane heater that does a great job, you can see it in one of the pictures by the wall. I also set up an outlet in the bedroom if I need more volume so far it keeps the building about 15 to 18 degrees cooler than outside but it gets hot as Heck in Dickens county in the summer so we'll see if I need more later.

Awesome job. Much rather put that money into what you built than a fifth wheel slide out. Much more comfortable and spacious.

I put a 12000/11000 BTU Frigidaire A/C Heat Pump in mine. It is ok but not quite big enough. I keep it on 71 economy setting and it keeps inside temp at 78-79 all day long but is not running all the time. It is comfortable. I turn it down to 67 at night and it is 73-74 and very comfortable at night and in the morning. This is in Goliad County. The heat pump works really well for our winters here. My electric bill is from $50 cooler months to $110 in coldest winter months. Heating it runs more than on A/C. You should be fine with that A/C. The lofted areas and higher ceilings take a bit more to heat/cool. I have ceiling fans also.

Stxranchman, you just can't beat the co-op when it comes to price per kilowatt hour. Wish we had one in Richardson. Co-ops have the lowest rates in the state. Dickens does get hot in summer. What type insulation do you have flashprism?

The Morgan Buildings are built really well also. My mother used to work for an oilfield service company and they bought an Morgan office building in the early 60's. My parents bought it from them about 20 yrs ago. Had a tree not damaged the roof in a hurrican a few years ago it would have still been in great shape inside and out. They build a really good product that will last a very long time.

Earthkid the building is 2x4 with 24" centers construction so we installed r 13 throughout with a radiant barrier on all walls and cielings. Most of what we used was craigs list specials the insulation was surplus from steel buildings It has the white plastic backing on 3 1/2 thick insulation

Did you insulate the floor also? Looks like you used vinyl planking on the floors? Great thing about the buildings is it is on skids and can be moved around or sold to be moved.

I love the radiant barrier, it's like a big old baked potato wrapped in foil. Once it get's cool it stays that way. Once it get's warm it stays that way. I like the bedroom, looks really nice. Beautiful thing about the Morgan bldng, NO MICE!
