Maybe it's the mild winter.
Maybe it's rain in the right places.

Whatever it is, I'm seeing dove EVERYWHERE I go.
...and I don't mean a pair or two...

How about a little input from around Texas?

I wish I had that problem. Not looking good for me so far, but we got a way to go.

Last year was the slowest dove year I've had in a long time. Hoping it turns around.

My guess would be the mild winter, but if they stick around until the opener, it's sure to be an epic season. I bet I saw every bit of 1,000 birds in our 100 acre field on Saturday. We had a good season there last year, but there weren't near the bird numbers that I'm seeing this year.

Yep Robertson and Harris county are loaded. I have a regular 30 whitewing that have been attacking my dog's food.

Not been "oh my" around here (mcallen, tx), but has been steady whenever I'm out shooting at the ranch. Would make a decent harvest if i was on my a game if it were season.

Just think it's may enough time for two or three more broods for mourning doves. I think one more for whitewings.
