This is from a baited area that I have in East Texas, near the Big Thicket. Unfortunately the trail camera lens had gotten wet so the picture came out blurry. All the other pictures were just birds and squirrels...which is surprising because I previously had been seeing some deer. I cant figure out if this was a dog, wild hog, or a big bobcat. One theory is that the concentration of birds and squirrels has attracted a bobcat...which would explain the deer disappearing. On the other hand there are a lot of dogs roaming around there. A hog I would have expected to stick around longer to eat. I'd like to hear yalls opinions. The dark spot in front of the animal is a tree stump about 12-14 inches tall. I had put corn around that stump about a week prior to the picture; so I doubt there was any left when this animal came around. However just a few feet away there is some sour corn buried in a 2ft post hole that the surface has barely been scraped. I would think that if a hog had come near then it would have dug up the sour corn. I think its to short to be a deer.

Vegetarians are cool. All I eat are vegetarians--except for the occasional mountain lion steak

And before anybody says anything...I know the camera says 2014 . Its an hour and a half away from where I live so its just going to have to stay that way until I remember to fix it.

i don't see an animal at all.
Sometimes a little self-therapy is good for the soul... getting out to mother nature, finding peace in reading a good book, re-learning how to take care of yourself.

Worm crawling on your lense.
It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

I'd say a pig... But, you can't ever be too sure what it MIGHT be...so, for those that haven't seen the illusive beast in person...here is an artist's rendering:
